dive into
steward-ownership

“It just doesn’t make sense to produce a great,
sustainable product, but then have an exploitative company structure and culture.” (Ines Schiller)

Vyld owns itself: profits are reinvested to advance our mission.

We follow the principle of steward-ownership, which prioritizes the company's purpose over profit. A legally anchored structure ensures that control and profits remain within the company rather than being privatized. Vyld thus combines entrepreneurial freedom with social and ecological impact.

1) Independence
- Voting rights and profit rights are separated
- Self-Governance: Responsibility and control is exercised by employees (stewards)
- Vyld is "owned by itself" neither by investors nor founders

2) Purpose Orientation
- Profits withdrawn from the company are capped, whether in terms of amount or time
- Profit-for-purpose/asset lock
- “Structured exit” instead of company sale

Eternity guarantee: principles are unchangeably written into the company constitution
